Pierre Claver Kazihise: “Bad behaviors may also hinder the 2020 elections”

“This is a clear indication that some people have not benefited from the campaign on the strengthening of the democratic culture initiated in the country since April 2019,” he says.
Mr. Kazihise adds that the campaign was aimed at ensuring that there is no more behavior contrary to peaceful coexistence among members of political parties.

“Bad behavior may also hinder the 2020 elections,” he says, adding that a sensitization campaign should continue to promote democratic values, human rights and peaceful coexistence among members of political parties especially in the run-up to the elections.

Otherwise, he says, the recalcitrant people will be punished in accordance with the law.
He has said that in a press conference organized on the publication of provisional lists of voters in the 2020 elections from 9 to 12 December.
