That school located in the north of the Burundian economic capital Bujumbura is where Primusic final contest was organized by Burundi brewery company- BRARUDI on July 28, 2019.

According to a police officer met on the spot, nobody was killed. However, compresses left in the tents of the Red Cross were full of blood. People who attended the event reported that there was a stampede. “Several people were wounded as the crowd jostled”, says Christine, one of the participants.
Laurette Tetero, 19, the only female among six contestants was the winner of the contest. She received a trophy and an amount of BIF 25 million. The special guest of this 4th Primusic edition was the Tanzanian singer Naseeb Abdul Juma known as Diamond Platnumz.
