EAC Member States : A Target of Al Shabbab Terrorist Attacks
Recently, a warning about the attack of the terrorist group Al Shabbab has been revealed by the US Embassy. Even though the government of Burundi says it is a rumor, it takes it very seriously.

The New Road Code is not effective yet

Samuel Kwitonda a famous and outstanding player of Judo in EAC
Kwitonda has always improved ; when he participated in EAC member states’ competitions ; he was nominated the best and outstanding player in the region. He won 7 medals, 5 gold medals and 2 bronze medals. 3 of them have been recently won in the 7th East Africa Judo Championship 2013 held at Zanzibar this March (one for the best judoka of EAC, another for the best judoka under the men category of 81kg and the last one for men open category).
