According to eyewitnesses, the attackers threatened him before shooting him. The victim was immediately taken to a health district where he died shortly after.<\/p>\n<p>Pierre Nkurikiye, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Security, says the two bandits wanted to steal his car in vain. \u201cLocal residents immediately intervened, the reason why they failed to steal it although they had already shot him,\u201d he says.
