Sylvestre Nyandwi, Attorney General of the Republic of Burundi told journalists in a press conference held on May 14, 2018.<br \/>\nHe said the commission of inquiry was set up to identify the perpetrators of the Ruhagarika massacre and their accomplices in order to bring them to justice.<br \/>\n&#8220;It has been given one month to conduct the investigation and submit the file to a competent court,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Burundi Attorney General calls on DRC authorities to be cooperative in the ongoing investigation.\u201cWe urge them to hand over the criminals staying on their territory to the Burundian justice,&#8221;
