Our members are being abused and intimidated. Unfortunately criminals are not punished,\u201d says Ndikumana. He mentions that it is the third time that MP Bernard Ndayisenga is beaten by members of the ruling party, adding that two other members of the same coalition suffered the same fate. Iwacu contacted authorities of Muha Commune to react on that issue but they refused.<\/p>\n<p>At the National Assembly, a session to analyze a bill on press in Burundi was scheduled but did not take place because of the absence of the MPs of the Amizero y&#8217;Abarundi coalition who went to assist their supporters abused.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The session that was scheduled for today is postponed,&#8221; said Pascal Nyabenda, the speaker of Burundi National Assembly.
