I worry about the next steps, &#8220;said Pierre Celestin Ndikumana, Chairman of the parliamentary group of the opposition Coalition Amizero y&#8217;Abarundi.<\/p>\n<p>This MP asked for guarantees if politicians who support the revision of Burundi Constitution and those who are against the change of Constitution will really have the same chance to teach the population to vote \u2018yes\u2019 or \u2018no\u2019 in the constitutional referendum.<\/p>\n<p>He also wondered what CENI commissioners plan to do for people who appealed to the population to vote \u201cyes\u201d in the upcoming constitutional referendum during the campaign for explaining the content of the new constitution project. \u201cThey violated the electoral code since the campaign to ask people to vote \u2018yes or no\u2019 was not yet launched,\u201d said Ndikumana.<\/p>\n<p>Gilbert B\u00e9caud Njangwa, the chairman of the civil society organization ONELOP Burundi affirmed that the voters \u2018registration process was credible and inclusive. He, however, criticized the absence of political observers in the registration process.<\/p>\n<p>For Pierre Claver Ndayicariye, CENI Chairman, the few isolated cases of irregularities observed cannot question the credibility of the referendum process.
