He will pay dearly for his crime because he must pay a 50%- fine for the undeclared products. After that he\u2019ll pay the regular tax for both those and the products he declared\u201d, says Manirambona.<\/p>\n<p>He indicates that the fraudster must pay another fine for using fake US Dollar bills. All in all that the tradesman will eventually pay BIF 28,773,663, where he would paid only BIF 9,098,228 if he didn\u2019t cheat. \u201cTradesmen will not succeed in cheating because the Port is increasing and improving its techniques of catching fraudsters\u201d, the commissioner warns.
