He also says a rope was tied around his neck. \u201cThis meant that his perpetrators strangled him before throwing him into this gutter around midnight,\u201d says another man met on the ground adding that his body was wet. Local sources also say judicial officers rushed to the place to witness the incident. The dead identified as Jackson Simbananiye nicknamed \u201cKirahwata\u201d was taken to \u201cRoi Khaled\u201d hospital mortuary.<\/p>\n<p>Pierre Nkurikiye, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Security says Kirahwata\u2019s family alerted the police that the forex dealer had just been abducted by unknown perpetrators around 8:10 p.m. this May 13. \u201cThe police immediately started the investigation and a suspected perpetrator has already been arrested,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>In the evening of May 13, alerts were spread on social media on the abduction of Jackson Simbananiye after had a sauna session in Rohero neighborhood in Mukaza commune in Bujumbura city. Kidnappers might have taken him in a car marked \u201cToyota IT- HA 8105.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2019, Jackson Simbananiye and his son as well as his employee were arrested and detained in Mpimba central prison.
