The allegations include the submission of a declaration of nationality non-conformity, lack of enough sponsors that are less than 200 people, incomplete sponsors\u2019 files and suspicious signatures on some documents&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Anicet Niyonkuru, chairman of CDP party has said he respects the verdict. &#8220;I respect it but the legality is unfair\u201d, he says adding that the electoral body has announced them the decision with a delay and the Court didn\u2019t take it into account.<\/p>\n<p>As for Aloys Baricako, Chairman of Kira Burundi coalition, the constitutional court reads the law. \u201cThe electoral body wouldn\u2019t have rejected our file arguing that it is incomplete\u201d, he said. According to him, there is hope that the elections will be well organized following the decision rendered by the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n<p>On 10 March, four presidential candidates <a href=\"https:\/\/iwacu.global.ssl.fastly.net\/englishnews\/ceni-rejects-four-presidential-candidates\/\">were rejected<\/a> by the National Independent Electoral Commission namely Domitien Ndayizeye, Anicet Ndayizeye, Valentin Kavakure and Jacques Bigirimana representing FNL party.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Constitutional Court ruled on 19 March that only the candidacy of Former President Domitien Ndayizeye was accepted to run for the presidential election set on May 20.
