He would rather be appointed and representatives of political parties should present him to their members,\u201d said Mr Ntahongendera.<\/p>\n<p>He adds that his party which fights for the promotion of democracy cannot accept to be represented by a person who was not democratically chosen.<\/p>\n<p>This party will be represented by its chairman Anicet Niyonkuru in the presidential election, says Ntahongendera.<\/p>\n<p>As for Aloys Baricako, legal representative of Kira-Burundi coalition, he says he was surprised by the withdrawal of CDP party from the coalition.<\/p>\n<p>He regrets that he was not notified of this decision and refutes the accusations of CDP party over the nomination of the presidential candidate.<\/p>\n<p>He says that the representative of Kira-Burundi coalition in the presidential elections is not yet known. &#8220;He will be elected in a meeting of leaders of parties that compose the coalition,&#8221; reassures Baricako adding that the decision must be taken by consensus.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;How come he accuses us of having imposed a presidential candidate on them when in fact we have not yet chosen him?\u201d wonders Baricako.<\/p>\n<p>He adds that the coalition is still looking for someone who meets the required conditions to represent this political coalition.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iwacu.global.ssl.fastly.net\/englishnews\/kira-burundi-new-political-coalition-for-upcoming-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Kira-Burundi Coalition was created on 19 February, 2020<\/a> and was so far made up of four political parties namely CDP Inserukarukamvye, PAJUDE, RANAC and FDES Sangira.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At a press conference held this 27 February, S\u00e9bastien Ntahongendera, secretary general of CDP Inserukarukamvye, has announced that this party has decided to withdraw from KIRA-Burundi coalition.
