He also called on the international community to provide appropriate support to Somalia and AMISOM to consolidate security gains in the country.<\/p>\n<p>AMISOM officials reported that two AMISOM soldiers belonging to the Burundi National Defense Force troops were killed in action while three others were injured. According to them, Hirshabelle state officials were travelling in the region when an Improvised Explosive Device-IED was detonated by cowardly terrorists. Then, AMISOM troops rushed to the scene to rescue the victims and were caught in the ambush.
