Chris is 10 years old while Junior is 8. They sing about social life (good or bad), poverty, peace, hatred between people, advice and solutions to the true love, as well as harmony in the community. They also sing perfect work achieved by heroes of the world and call upon people to copy their good examples. “We have started singing since 2010. All our family members sing, even my mother does. Our brother is a studio producer and he is the one who writes our songs. But we have songs that we have written ourselves,” points out Chris Niyontsinzi. Chris Niyontsinzi goes on saying that they have already produced 10 songs on their own. They also have songs featuring different singers or sometimes cover other artists’ songs. He also mentions that they are satisfied with the step they have already reached though singing is an everyday improving career.
“At the beginning, singing was not easy because singing needs much time and many rehearsal sessions. But now, we succeed thanks to our brother Akimana Espoir “Akes”. We are happy because today singers appreciate us and need that we cover their songs while producing our own,” states Junior Ninziza.
They add that they also participated at a concert that took place at Bujumbura “Musée Vivant” to come to help flood victims of 9 March 2014. According to them, they can contribute like Rwandan kid singers who do it through music in their country. “We organize ourselves and we manage our time between singing and studying. Music doesn’t take our whole time and we can’t forget our main task of studying and we will still sing to contribute in the positive change of the world,” concludes Chris Ninziza.

Supporters were eager to promote them

PAKA Promotion is an Agency for Burundian Cultural Promotion. It appreciates the work of the two kids and tries to boost them. According to Patrick Paggio Niyonkuru, Journalist and Chairman of PAKA Promotion states that he finds the talent of the two kid singers commendable and decide to support them effectively. “I found out that those singers were kids and good at singing but didn’t have someone to support them so that they could be known. As far as they are kids, they don’t have the power to knock at any door and at anytime, I did it for them,” highlights Paggio Niyonkuru. He concludes saying that PAKA Promotion helps them to make clips and audio tunes but also organizes broadcasting programs to give them opportunities to be widely known; in general, it pleads for them during various concerts.Paggio Niyonkuru hopes that soon their whole album will be posted on you tube. But there are some songs already posted there.

Two Burundians, brilliant and cute kids, have decided to follow the footsteps of their elder musicians to change bad things into good ones through music.
