B\u00e9ata Musabyemariya: “This campaign is in correlation with the choice of the government which decided to prioritize the development of the woman and the social protection in the national development program by2028”<\/p><\/div>\n

She said that in the morning of Monday, 11 March 2019, in Bujumbura at the launch of the campaign to improve women\u2019s working conditions.<\/p>\n

“The aim is to raise both women and men\u2019s awareness, starting with the youngest, to work for equal rights to work, safety and social protection “.<\/p>\n

She said this initiative is in line with the policy of the Burundian government: “This campaign is in correlation with the choice of the government which decided to prioritize the development of women and social protection in the national development program by 2028 “.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Musabyemariya asked the Burundian authorities, particularly the Ministry of Human Rights, Social Affairs and Gender, to be the spokesperson for Burundian women. This campaign was launched on the eve of the 63rd session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in the World.
