This day was not celebrated in the previous years. It shows that we are now supported, it is an honor to all women\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For Anne Marie Nshimirimana, another woman met in the town, says it is a great honor to be remembered worldwide. \u201cIt is truly a great joy as the world remembers that a woman is essential and can contribute to the development of a country\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Some women say this day dedicated to them should be to a holiday. Chantal Uwimana, says \u201cIt&#8217;s true we love to work but the day should be a day off so that we could rest and enjoy it with friends\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Another woman asks the government to continue supporting women in all sectors. \u201cWe have 30% of women in the institutions but we want to have 50% because women are also capable of doing what men can do\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s day has been celebrated in every corner of the country.
