Ambassador David Kapya, Senior Advisor to the office of the facilitation has said the facilitator will assess the Kayanza and Entebbe roadmaps as well as the crisis resolution proposal and then submit them to the mediator. \u201cThen, the summit of EAC Heads of State will rule on the roadmap and will decide whether the facilitator can continue his activities or not,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Anicet Niyonkuru, executive secretary of the opposition platform in exile \u2013CNARED says it is clear that the facilitation has failed all along the line. \u201cThe mediator did not fulfill his duty properly. In addition, the session came to an abrupt end,\u201d he says adding that there wasn\u2019t any dialogue without the presence of the government side.<\/p>\n<p>According to Tatien Sibomana, a member of the coalition \u201cAmizero y&#8217;Abarundi\u201d, if the EAC Heads of State are not able to rule on Burundi crisis during their summit, the African Union or the UN must take the matter in hand. \u201cThe facilitator told us that he had ended his directed activities.
