As MPs, our role is to closely follow and see whether or not the government\u2019s measures have been implemented\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Mr.Baciryanino says there are also irregular cases like prisoners who are detained while they don\u2019t even have files in justice. \u201cThere are people who have never got the opportunity to appear in court and others whose files have been lost. How can judges say they have lost the prisoners\u2019 files?\u201d he wonders.<br \/>\nMr. Baciryanino says he wanted to hold a press conference this Friday 12 but the police forbade him. \u201cI wanted to hold a press conference so as to sensitize people to the fact that there are illegally detained prisoners but the police forbade me\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>On September 19, Independent MP Fabien Baciryanino submitted a list of prisoners that are illegally detained and some of them were later released by the Minister of Justice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The independent MP Fabien Baciryanino calls on the Ministry of Justice to free acquitted prisoners.
